Routesetting Team Leader

Lead Setter Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the sets start and end on time

  • Ensuring the team have targets for the day (RSTA’s have challenges, RST have grade spread quota and some creative guidelines. E.g. Dynamic V4, Macro Advanced Walking V2, No Jump to Palm Push, etc.)

  • Maintaining safety for both the setting team on the day as well as providing a safe product for the customers (in accordance to our policies and guidelines)

  • Following and upholding our setting procedures

  • Aiding and mentoring in the progression of our RSTA’s

  • Managing the bloc count for the day and adapting if necessary

  • Ensuring sets are well mapped with same grades not overlapping where possible

  • Ensuring a diverse range of styles/blocs are set within the area

  • Ensuring grading is progressive, consistent and accurate within the set and the centre

  • Ensuring high quality blocs are left on the wall

  • Setting 10+ blocs/day. (Variable depending on whether you’re leading, have an apprentice or solo. More if solo or not leading, less if leading or have an apprentice)

  • Maintaining a positive team vibe

  • Delegating tasks if needed

  • Uploading blocs onto Griptonite for the set

  • Collecting and uploading Beta Videos to Teams.

  • Filling out and sending a handover after each set, reporting issues, providing positive and constructive feedback, and any low stock for the setting management

  • Be an LCC team ambassador

Where we’re Hiring

  • The role spans across all our (8) London sites as part of the Regional Routesetting Team

  • Minimum 6 days/month but flexible for the right person
