Callum ‘Sketch’ Taylor

Callum has been working in the UK climbing gym scene for over 11 years, starting out as an instructor and working his way up to Centre Manager, before turning his attention to routesetting, where he has been busy for the last 7 years.

Currently, he is a Regional Team Lead Routesetter with the London Climbing Centres chain, setting across all 8 of their sites in the capital. He also freelances, having set at multiple gyms around the country and beyond.

Having lost count of the number of gyms he has visited, he has a sound understanding of the industry landscape today and is passionate about the continued growth and professionalisation of indoor climbing.

When not wielding his trusty Makita impact driver he can be found out exploring with his partner Claudia and their cocker spaniel, Spot.
